Facebook makes it difficult if not IMPOSSIBLE to FIND, Locate & Talk to customers without having to dig through the back end to only accidently stumble across the tools they need to sell properly.
EVERYTHING SHOULD GO THROUGH SHOPIFY!!!
Facebook Shop is not set up properly.
And most people do not ever end up seeing customer inquiries or orders half the time!
It's annoying.
Again - everythiong should go through Shopify!

app was incredibly difficult to deal with. it was not intuitive at all, had bugs EVERYWHERE, add was a nightmare trying to connect to. For the love of god please fix and simplify this. the connect account butting was totally broken. being able to use these seamlessly is very important. Also, i find the main Meta page to be WAY too cluttered. its impossible to navigate and find what you are looking for and the walk through and tutorials are outdated and don't help much due to all the changes.

Instead of making me jump backwards through hoops trying to work through various settings on both the Shopify and Meta side to try and get this to work, could you not just have stated up front that Shops on Meta are not available in New Zealand. An hour of my time I'll never get back...!

Facebook & Instagram make it difficult to find my store as I can't connect it to my Facebook account that has all my friends, but had to start a "page" for my shop then not only do I have to grow my facebook account, but I then have to hope that all my friends will like my "page" and decide to follow that too so I have two Facebook accounts to manage instead of just one. My shop is completely invisible on Instagram, not searchable, not findable. I feel like this shopify app is a complete waste of money, not a single sale or view has come from this app.

When I try to connect my Facebook page to Shopify, I receive an error message stating that I am not the page account's admin. However, I am certain this is not true. Its very bad system and no any supporting for us.

Not worth the $$ as i dont have the ability to tag products, i am relying on people seeing the ad, then going to my page to access my website.
I have ran several and have not gotten a single sale.

Poorly integrated with meta business suite. Difficult to navigate. Difficult to sync products with Shopify. Frustrating UI. Not intuitive. An example of Meta's social media monopoly allowing it to put out a crappy product without suffering any consequences.

Completely inefficient and syncing process has been infuriatingly difficult. Also, the meta support caused my store deactivation and then attempting to reactivate, connected it to the incorrect Facebook business profile, therefore blocking it from being accessible on instagram. There is no real time communication, lots of emails and then no ability to respond. I have taken all the steps necessary and I feel your support team caused this chaos and now there is no one to actually communicate about it with. Very dissatisfied.

terrible!

We've never been able to start ads because the system wouldn't take any of our cc's as a form of payment and then it restricted our account. after review, we received a message that those restrictions were cleared but they weren't!

Months later we're still locked out. We've tried reaching out to support multiple times... nothing! They're no help! And there's no way to have another review of or account started!

If you want dysfunctionality and almost impossiblity (ChatGPT is a brilliant support entity where it help one navigate the Meta mess and its systems) and you are okay with spiraling into exhaustion and going nutty as it relates to trying to get help with everything Meta shops, then you've landed on a great app. ONCE you do get someone, somehow Meta has managed to hire the kindest customer service reps who are sometimes great at being helpful, and other times - the wait - back and forth via email could take days.....or weeks. For a tech company specializing in social media and one of the wealthiest companies in the world, it's an absolute embarassment that they truly don't care about their business clients. I've chosen a succinct way of answering. Otherwise I could write an entire essay on the Facebook experience.
